Back to the Hall
Much thought has gone into making the venue safe and, in addition to measures covered in our Risk Assessment, the Council have agreed that we would like people to wear masks whilst moving around the venue.
Recognising some people may be unable to attend meetings in person we will zoom broadcast meetings from the hall where we have speakers or competitions. For the season 2021/2022 all our speakers (except one early in 2022) and judges will be live in the hall.
We have a very exciting programme this year and are looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones. Membership subscription have returned to 2019/2020 rates and visitors are always welcome.

Southport Photographic Society
The society was founded in 1890, making it one of the oldest photographic societies in the the country. It is also one of the best-known, thanks to our Annual National Open Exhibition which attracts entries from the UK’s leading photographers. In 2020 we celebrated our 130th Anniversary.
Yet despite the society’s age and fame, SPS is simply a diverse group of photographers with skill levels ranging from beginner to experienced, who meet to chat and share knowledge every Monday from September to April.
Our program includes a variety of photographic talks and presentations as well as competition nights for new and advanced photographers.
If you are interested in photography, want to learn more about this fascinating activity and/or want to meet like-minded people why not join us? Visitors are always welcome and who knows where one visit might take you, we are looking forward to meeting you.
